SMS Presents Modified Starch Innovations at Paperex 2025

On 3–6 December 2025, SMS participated in Paperex 2025, held at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, New Delhi International Convention & Expo Centre (IICC), showcasing its advanced innovations in modified tapioca starch designed to enhance paper performance across all stages of production. 

Paperex is an internationally renowned exhibition and conference series focused on the paper, pulp, and allied industries, bringing together global technology providers, manufacturers, and industry experts. It serves as a key platform for discovering solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce production costs, and improve paper quality through technical innovation.

Led by Mr.Sombat Akamamuwatr, Assistant Commercial Director, together with Mrs. Suchawadee Soongsumal, Senior Regional Sales Manager, and  SMS team presented five core paper process solutions, including wet-end, surface sizing, spraying, coating, and liquid polymer for ASA emulsification that demonstrate how modified tapioca starch that act as additives improve paper strength, retention, drainage, coating, and sizing performance. 

Throughout the event, the booth drew strong interest from paper manufacturers and technical experts, who engaged with the SMS starch specialists to discuss tailored starch solutions for their production needs.
