SMS attended MOU signing ceremony to implement India-Thailand Business Matching and Networking sms-underline

January 17-18th, 2020 Mr. Khem Wanglee, the Managing Director of SMS Corporation, presented to join MOU signing ceremony of India - Thailand Business Matching and Networking presided over by H.E.Mr. Jurin Laksanawisit, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce, and other senior government official of Thailand.

The first MOU signing was done with Mr. R Krishnaswamy Chairman and Managing Director of Sripathi Paper and Boards Pvt. Ltd, the biggest recycled paper in South India at ITC Gardenia hotel, Bengaluru. And the second was signed at ITC Kohenur hotel, Hyderabad, with Mr. Mukesh Chandra Madhukar – the vice president of Bilt Graphic Paper Products Limited, which has six manufacturing units, giving it geographic coverage over most of the domestic market.

The MOU ceremony was held to target the business networking in tapioca, food, and construction industry which expected to reach a total trade value of over 12 billion baht regarding India’s economy that forecasted to skyrocket to be the information technology center. The growth leads the urbanization which benefits many businesses; construction, real estate, hotels, department stores, and tourism, etc. and that inevitably result in the increasing demand for goods and services such as food, restaurant, and logistics. This platform indicated that Thai exports can numerously reach the Indian demand in agricultural and industrial products and potentially be part of the production chain in various industries in India.
