SMS Food Expert team lectured on Modified Tapioca Starch Solution at KMUTT
October 2nd, 2020 at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) SMS Food Expert Team led by Mr. Nutthawee Thamjedsada (Assistant General Manager) and Ms. Chutarat Kowittaya (Food Innovation Manager), have given instruction to more than 48 students about a wide range of modified tapioca starch solution as food chemistry subject for various food application.
The objective is aimed to educate the use of modified starch solutions to apply and advance the food industry nowadays. During the lecture, the topic was first started with the method of tapioca modification from cassava root to starch. Later on, the lecturers have introduced to the use of each food application such as bakery, dessert, noodle, snack, meat product, and food coating application.
As the food has always been developed, the company highlighted the importance of innovation that are applied to enhance better food quality.
