SMS Farmer Membership Day Buriram

Siam Modified Starch Co., Ltd (Burirum), One of SMS Group held the 3rd Farmer Membership Day on 29th June. The opening of the fair was honored by the provincial governor of Burirum province, Mr. Teerawat Wuttikhun. During the fair, there were speeches given by the important person in Mr. Phaisan Keawbuddee – the academic of Department of Agricultural Extension, on tapioca current situation, the impact of Cassava Mosaic Virus, and other plant diseases to help educate farmers to improve and augment their products.

There was also the showcase of big cassava root to share knowledge and advises to farmers. Many-valued prizes were rewarded to the outstanding farmers for their excellent work and for tapioca manufacturing. Apart from that, there are many activities for farmers to enjoy; Big Cassava Contest, fair of agricultural equipment, OTOP products and valued prizes lucky draw. In this warm atmosphere, the company was glad to welcome all farmers and thanked for this strengthened relationship that has been long built among agricultural family.
