SMS 30th Farmer Membership Day - Make Our Farmer Family Better & More Sustainable 
June 18, 2023, the annual ceremony ‘the 30th Farmer Membership Day,’ is fully on site after three years of pause during the outbreak. The lively atmosphere of the event and the enjoyment of activities among our farmer membership family are recalled.
Beginning with the objectives of the Farmer Membership System by Mr. Natachai Wanglee (the Managing Director of production) and having Dr. Werawat Lertwanawatana (the CEO of SMS) giving the opening speech. This year, SMS welcomed the honored guest Prof. Dr. Jarernsak Rojanaritphichet (Honorary Member of the Kasetsart University Council), visualizing knowledge of the current cassava cultivation situation to farmers. There were many activities at the event, including a big cassava contest, a waxy tapioca contest, and a lucky draw. All the activities were organized for farmers to participate in and get rewards for their masterpieces.
The 38 years of SMS success for being the global leader of modified tapioca starch manufacturers, we grant importance to our farmer families as the origin of worldwide innovation. Our farmer membership system was set to distribute cassava knowledge, including cultivation training, technologies, and smart farming. The project was aimed at implementing cassava production for greater use and conducting sustainable agriculture.
Apart from knowledge projects, the company also launched the smartphone application, catering to the needs of farmers and also facilitating farmers to book and redeem the rewards for their cassava trading, record of crop date, and cost of track cultivation as well.
